Gaming: The 5 Most Classic Cars in GTAV Online

paragon R Armored

The vehicle is essentially the armoured variant of the Paragon R, which features armour padding on the sides and window armouring on the pillars, in a similar manner to the armoured vehicles featured in the Executives and Other Criminals update.

Once the player has completed all 6 Casino Story Missions as the host, the Paragon R (Armored) will be given as a reward to be collected at the Port of Los Santos. It is not obtainable otherwise, other than as a Lucky Wheel podium prize.

This is a surprisingly fast car considering the amount of armor on it. It is not as heavily armored as the Kuruma but is more aesthetically pleasing and just as fast.

Pegassi Tempesta

The car shows heavy influences from the Lamborghini Huracán, particularly in terms of scale and size, while taking side profiling from the 2016 Lamborghini Centenario, seen prominently in the side intakes and rear arches. The rear-top fascia of the vehicle takes design references from the 2014 Lotus Esprit concept, where the B-pillar, hood vents and grille and rear cockpit window are replicated. The front bumper, hood line and front headlights are also similar to that of the Esprit concept, while also taking design from the 2013 Lotus Elan concept.

The actual top speed of the Tempesta in GTA V is 121.25 mph (195.13 km/h) when it's fully upgraded, as it's been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

The Tempesta is very similar to the Jester (Racecar) in that it has all-round excellent stats for the class and is a good car for novice drivers. The vehicle has immense acceleration, matched by an outstanding top speed and cornering capability, all thanks to the 30/70 all-wheel drive. This allows it to be taken to its limit effortlessly. The car performs excellently in comparison to other supercars, being very competitive with the likes of the RE-7B and X80 Proto.

Stirling GT

Stylised as a grand tourer coupe, the car takes resemblance from the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, though its overall body resembles the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR and Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe, sharing the main gull-wing doors feature, as well as the front grille, and classic lightbulbs. The fenders are reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante and the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. Its stock rim design bear an uncanny resemblance to an actual rim design available for the real 300SL.

The Stirling GT has excellent acceleration and its top speed is decent, falling in the middle between the Roosevelt and most of the other high end sports classics. The handling is incredible, acting less like a Sports Classic and more similarly to some sports cars, with large amounts of grip, meaning oversteer is only present when attempting to conserve too much speed around a corner.

Along with the JB 700, Roosevelt, Casco, and Coquette Classic, the Stirling GT has high resistance to impact deformation. Its responsive handling, especially for Sports Classics, means it is a very good choice for racing in the Sports Classics class on most tracks, though the Z-Type is still a better choice on longer races with fewer corners.

Stirling Glendale

The Glendale was reintroduced in the I'm Not a Hipster Update for Grand Theft Auto V. No longer an American vintage saloon, the Glendale is based on the Mercedes-Benz W114/W115 (most likely a W115, as the car has a diesel engine) with headlights from the larger W108 and a grille resembling that of the W113. The rear fascia and taillights are based on the BMW E3. Overall, the vehicle is comparable to the 3D Universe's Admiral (which is based on a W123).

In terms of performance, the car is only average, with an average top speed, mediocre acceleration, moderate endurance and average cornering. However, the Glendale seems to be quite durable, especially in comparison to newer cars. The vehicle's power-to-weight ratio may be a contributing factor to its below-average acceleration, as the car is heavy but possesses a weak engine, and as a result, is also a poor hill climber.

Carbonizarre

The car's design draws clear inspiration from British-Italian styling found on the Aston Martin V12 Zagato and Ferrari F12 for the rear fascia, front and rear quarter paneling, along with the almost identical wheel design as the Aston. The headlights, front bumper ducts and integrated LED daytime running lights appear near identical to those of the TranStar Racing Dagger GT. The car's convertible feature is based on that of the Ferrari California, while the V12 Zagato does not feature any folding roof mechanism.

The Carbonizzare is a fairly middle-of-the-road Sports car, with good acceleration and top speed. Its handling is very well balanced between understeer and oversteer, making it easy to drive and hard to spin out. Understeer is more pronounced at higher speeds but is easily manageable. Crash deformation is acceptable compared to other Sports cars, but it won't take many collisions for performance-reducing damage to occur. While very well balanced in its entirety, the Carbonizzare's lack of distinction makes it a fairly meager choice for a racing vehicle. Overall, the Carbonizzare is a solid choice for newer players but lacks potential in more skilled hands.
